Electric car

The article is about an electric car that meets expectations of sports car. With 1018 horsepower and the ability to go 0 to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds this car is the new thing in the market, the car can travel 372 miles before recharging. The car was built in a garage by a twenty-five year old, named Mate Rimac.

I like this article because it’s the future of cars, with petroleum at its highest prices it is time to look for a new alternative. Electric cars are the alternative but nobody wants a little smart car that tops at 60 mpg. With a car that fits the qualification of Bugatti, who would not want this car! By making cars like this we are saving the environment, which is what we need since global warming is at its peak. I hope they start producing these cars as it can be the change that the world needs.

How does the author support his claim?

The author supports his claim when he stated the capabilities and of the car why he did such as “the car produces 1018 horsepower, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds, has a top speed of 305 kph (190 mph), and can travel 600 kilometers (372 miles) on a single charge.” This proves that this car is out of this world, no other electric car has ever met those expectations. According to the article “ "I decided to combine my two passions, technology and cars and make an electric car that can prove the electric motor is much better even on the racetrack...”

Family wants the detective who shot their kid in jail. Family says that there was there cops at the scene and he was only armed with a screw driver, There was no need to kill him. Cops say they are required to make instant decisions in situations like that and that was the best one.

I think the cops done the right thing here. The family says they overreacted, but if that is true than why did they call the cops in the first place?

According to POL 111 once the police was called in it was up to the police man to decide what was best for everyone's safety. We can see that there is not much to argue here, police man have been trained to make decisions like this one.

I believe the right thing was done here, if he wasn't a treat then why call the cops. This article is just mixed emotions about losing a family member. We can all learn to make wise decisions when it comes to things like this. For the family members and the police, wise decisions needed to be executed.

The central point of this article was to inform the reader of a shooting that seem to be unnecessary, and police brutality. According to family members there was more then one agency, "It may be notable, too, that the three officers who responded all came from different agencies." After the detective came in family members heard him say "(He) walks in the room, walks around the corner, (and) says, 'We don't have time for this. Tase that kid now. Let's get him out of here.'"
